Photo contest: Mit Hatting – images that bring us together

In spring and summer 2026 Hatting gets a new way to see itself – through the camera lens and the eyes of its citizens.

The contest “Mit Hatting – images that bring us together” invites everyone in town to share photos of what makes Hatting special: nature, community, everyday moments, architecture, and the small details that make up our shared life.

There are five categories: Nature, Leisure, Places, Architecture, and Open – room for both classic motifs and creative ideas. Three photos per category are selected, printed in large format, and exhibited on the grass by the real estate office.

The exhibition opens during Horsens Holder (Horsens Festival), creating an inspiring space for locals and visitors to stroll among the photos, meet informally, vote for favorites, and experience Hatting through local eyes. The photo with the most votes wins a great prize.

After the exhibition, the selected works become a “local art collection” that can decorate shared spaces around town – the hall, the school, the community house, and Hatting Center – so the project lives on in daily life.

The goal of Mit Hatting is to build community, pride, and joy around everything that makes our town unique – and give us all a fresh view of what we share.
